The theme for this project was calm tech. We were instructed to choose an existing tech company, and redesign their approach. While most chose social media or music streaming platforms, I wanted to come at this project from a different perspective. 

I decided to put my energy toward making the ride-share experience itself a bit more calm. For women and trans individuals, taking an Uber ride can been more intimidating than convenient. This is where Assi comes in.

Assi, a German slang term for someone who doesn’t consider how their actions affect others, is the name of my recreation of Uber. This new take on ridesharing provdies users with enhanced safety and anxiety reducing features.
